According to the AA its comprehensive car insurance policy is its most popular and covers customers for a multitude of situations which include; insurance up to an agreed value, one event, one excess, towing, storage and transport in the event of an incident, damage to someone else’s property as well as damage to your vehicle and damage caused by an uninsured vehicle. The policy also offers cover for fire damage, theft, damage to locks and keys, multi-policy discounts and a lifetime repair guarantee.

What’s covered by AA’s Third Party, Fire & Theft Policy?

Offering fewer benefits than its comprehensive policy, AA’s third party, fire and theft includes cover for an agreed value, one event, one excess, discounts for having more than one policy with the AA, a lifetime repair guarantee, cover for damage to someone else’s property, damage by an uninsured driver up to $4,000, fire and theft. 

What’s Covered by AA’s Third Party Policy?

Described by the AA as basic cover if you damage someone else’s property with your car, its third party policy includes; one event, one excess, eligibility for multi-policy discounts, a lifetime repair guarantee, damage to someone else’s property and damage to your car by an uninsured driver up to $4,000.

What don’t AA’s Car Insurance Policies cover?

Similar to many other insurers, the AA does not cover its customers in the event of mechanical failure, those using their vehicle for business purposes, or those operating their vehicle outside the terms of their license.
