What’s on offer with AMP’s Everday home and contents insurance?

Cover for basic theft, temporary accommodation and major events, such as an earthquake, storm, fire or flood. It includes:

Home

• Up to $2 million legal liability
• Temporary accommodation, up to 10% sum insured for 12 months
• Removal of debris
• Fencing, up to 2km
• Retaining walls, up to $50,000
• Driveways, up to 50m
• Environmental improvements up to $2500

Contents

• Contents in storage/transit
• Food/medicine spoilage, up to $500
• Jewellery, up to $4000
• Art, to $50,000
• Visitor’s contents, up to $500
• Home office equipment, up to $10,000
• Identity theft cover, up to $1000
• Fatal injury cover, up to $5000

Sum Extra Care (see below) and accidental damage cover are optional extras.

What’s on offer with AMP’s Everday Plus home and contents insurance?

Cover for accidental damage, theft, temporary accommodation and major events, such as an earthquake, storm, fire or flood. It includes:

Home

• SumExtra: provides full replacement cost of home in event of damage or destruction by non-natural disaster, and 10% extra on top of sum insured for natural disaster
• Accidental damage cover
• Gradual damage cover, up to $5000
• Up to $2 million legal liability
• Temporary accommodation, up to 10% sum insured for 12 months
• Removal of debris
• Fencing, up to 2km
• Retaining walls, up to $75,000
• Driveways, up to 100m
• Environmental improvements up to $3500
• Plants and gardens, up to $1000

Contents

• Contents in storage/transit
• Food/medicine spoilage, up to $1000
• Jewellery, up to $10,000
• Art, to $80,000
• Visitor’s contents, up to $1000
• Home office equipment, up to $15,000
• Identity theft cover, up to $1500
• Fatal injury cover, up to $5000
