One NZ is a leading telco company that offers mobile and broadband services. One NZ is owned by the NZ-based infrastructure investment company Infratil.

What phone plans does One NZ offer?

One NZ has seven prepaid plans. There are four cheaper plans, $30 and under, two endless data plans that offer unlimited data with speed caps after data limits, and one unlimited max-speed plan.

All unused rollover data lasts up to a year. DataUp on Rollover plans offers up to 100% free data if your plan renews regularly.

$70 Plan: Endless data (speeds reduce after 50GB) & unlimited calls & texts to NZ/OZ + 250 mins & 50 texts to 20 international destinations + group plan from $35/m
$85 Plan: Endless data (no max speed cap) & unlimited calls & texts to NZ/OZ + 250 mins & 50 texts to 20 international destinations + group plan from $40/m

All plans offer hotspotting, fee voicemail, One NZ rewards and are 5G ready. They also offer One NZ’s satellite text facility.

Do One NZ's phone plans offer value for money?

One NZ is not a no-frills provider like Skinny, and its prepaid phone plans are in line with those from Spark and 2degrees, and come with the offer of rewards and daily deals, etc.

One NZ's monthly plans sit mid-table when it comes to their pricing and the cost of adding companion plans, and the max data caps on its lower priced plans do appear a bit stingy. But the two more expensive plans do come with the distinction of offering texts and over four hours of voice calls per month to a wide range of international destinations.
