Bigpipe offers a range of mobile phone plans in NZ. Find out what’s on offer and how Bigpipe compares in this mobile phone review by Canstar.

Bigpipe broadband is a no-frills broadband provider that is owned by Spark NZ.

It was one of the first broadband providers in Aotearoa to offer ultrafast broadband with no data caps.

What does Bigpipe broadband offer?

Bigpipe offers two open-term fibre broadband plans and charges a $49 connection fee across all plans:

Fibre

$89/m – average speeds 500/100Mbps

$119/m – average speeds 900/500Mbps

BYO modem only and a $49 install fee applies.

ADSL/VDSL

For customers not connected to fibre, it still offers ADSL/VDSL services:

ADSL: $89/m – average speeds 10/1Mbps

VDSL: $99/m – average speeds 45/13Mbps

What’s the deal with Bigpipe broadband?

Bigpipe offers no-frills, ultra-fast broadband with no fixed-term contracts.

It's a simple premise that cuts through the often confusing packages and deals offered by other providers.

However, despite its lack of frills, Bigpipe's deals are not among the cheapest available.
