Choosing the best fibre broadband provider

Value for Money is always a top consideration for the consumers in Canstar's awards, so it's no surprise to see it rated as the most important concern for almost a quarter (23%) of fibre broadband customers.

However, the No.1 factor is Network Performance, for well over a quarter (28%) of broadband customers. But given how we all rely on broadband in our homes for work and play, having a reliable broadband service is of upmost importance.

Overall, here's what the consumers in our survey say are their top considerations when rating their broadband providers:

  • Network Performance: 28%
  • Value for Money: 23%
  • Customer Service: 20%
  • Contract Flexibility & Clarity: 8%
  • Billing Transparency: 11%
  • Ease of Set-up: 10%
