The best wireless broadband provider in NZ
The brands rated are listed below in order of best overall satisfaction.
1. Skinny

Given Skinny's emphasis on low prices, it's no surprise that the telco is the only wireless broadband provider in our ratings to earn a top 5-Star rating for Value for Money from its customers.
It's a rating that it achieves across a further two ratings categories: Contract Flexibility & Clarity and Network Performance, and is why Skinny is the winner of Canstar's latest Wireless Broadband Award, for delivering the best service, value and satisfaction to Kiwi wireless consumers.
In addition to its no-frills prepaid mobile plans, Skinny offers a great range of broadband deals across fixed and wireless plans.
Skinny offers a free wireless modem on a 12-month contract, plus offers a $10/m discount across its broadband plans if you also have an active eligible Skinny mobile plan.

Choosing the best wireless broadband provider
Value for Money is always a top consideration for the consumers in Canstar's awards, so it's no surprise to see it rated as the most important concern for over a quarter (27%) of wireless broadband customers.
However, the No.1 factor is Network Performance, for a third (33%) of wireless broadband customers. But given how we all rely on broadband in our homes for work and play, having a reliable wireless broadband service is of upmost importance.
Overall, here's what the consumers in our survey say are their top considerations when rating their wireless providers:
- Network Performance: 33%
- Value for Money: 27%
- Customer Service: 18%
- Contract Flexibility & Clarity: 13%
- Ease of Set-up: 9%
